Here are some of the problems that might be causing the Safereader not to work:
1. You are using a different Messaging application than the Android SMS Application. At this moment, Vlingo Safereader does not support any other Messaging application.
2. You do not have a valid Email account set up. If this is the case and you are having trouble defining your email server, you will need to get assistance from your IT.
SafeReader needs to have your email settings defined separately from the settings on your phone. It can not access your server account from the Email settings on your phone because the Operating System on Android will not allow third applications to access your email information.
Vlingo does not have an automatically setup for Exchange server, if you do have an Exchange server, you will have to contact your IT in order to find out the appropriate settings as IMAP or POP.
Some customers have found that changing the "check email every" period triggers the SafeReader.
