Error: "Checking network connection..."

We strongly recommend installing any updates that are available, as important fixes have been made.  To check for updates:

  1. Open Vlingo.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Software update.
  4. If any updates are available, click Update.
  5. Follow the prompts to install the update.

If you continue to encounter this error, feel free to contact our support team. Please include the following information:

  1. The problem you're having, including the exact text of any error message.
  2. Your device ID.  To find the ID, type *#06# from your phone's home screen.
  3. Try running Vlingo over a WiFi connection.  Let us know whether this works.
